Related activities on women, peace and security FUW works with women in particular Dalit women of far west Nepal. We work on the following issues:

  • Domestic violence
  • Legal empowerment
  • capacity building
  • Income generation
  • Caste based discrimination
  • Conflict transformation and Peace building

We have built capacity of more than 500 Dalit women of Far West. We have trained them in Laws regarding Violence against women, caste based discrimination leadership skills and Right to Information. Income generation activities are being conducted. Ten women are trained as peace workers. These women resolve disputes between women and promote intermingling between women of various castes.
